Ethan Price made a crucial defensive play by blocking a 3-point shot from Stefan Todorovic just as time expired, sealing the win for the Cougars.
Leading the charge for Washington State (16-10, 6-7 in the West Coast Conference) was Nate Calmese, who scored 16 points, demonstrating an efficient shooting performance by connecting on 8 of his 13 attempts. Dane Erikstrup contributed significantly with 15 points, eight rebounds, and five steals. Isaiah Watts also added 15 points to the scoreboard, notably tying the game at 75 with his fourth 3-pointer with just 28 seconds to spare.
