The Highlanders improved their record to 16 wins and 10 losses, establishing a 6-5 standing in the Big South Conference. Maclin contributed significantly to the win, posting 15 points along with six rebounds. Truth Harris supported the effort with 12 points, demonstrating a solid performance by shooting 4 out of 7 from the field, including 1 for 3 from beyond the arc, and converting 3 out of 5 free throws. Josiah Harris rounded out a trio of key contributors by scoring 11 points on an effective 5 of 8 shooting, while also grabbing seven rebounds.
For the Lancers, Colby Garland was the standout player, amassing 23 points. Angelo Brizzi and Kyrell Luc also made notable contributions, scoring 13 points and 12 points, respectively, while Luc added three steals to his tally.
