Brewer completed the game shooting 8 out of 17, including hitting 2 of 3 attempts from beyond the arc, and making 7 of 9 free throws. The Panthers’ overall record improved to 8-15, with a Conference USA tally of 2-8. Teammate Jonathan Aybar also made significant contributions, scoring 19 points with a shooting average of 6 of 18 from the field, which included 3 of 9 from three-point distance.
