Quinnipiac claims victory over Canisius with a score of 89-71.

Amarri Monroe delivered an impressive performance, scoring 29 points to lead Quinnipiac to an 89-71 victory against Canisius on Thursday evening.
Monroe not only showcased his scoring ability but also contributed significantly on the boards, collecting 10 rebounds for the Bobcats, who improved their record to 14 wins and 9 losses, with 10 wins coming from their conference play in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.

In addition to Monroe’s standout display, Jaden Zimmerman chipped in with 14 points, shooting efficiently with 5 of 8 from the field, including a strong 2 of 3 from beyond the arc.
Alexis Reyes also played a pivotal role for the Bobcats, finishing with 12 points, shooting 4 of 9 from the field, and adding impressive numbers with 6 rebounds and 5 assists to his credit.

On the opposing side, Paul McMillan IV led the way for the Golden Griffins, scoring 23 points in a strong outing.
Tana Kopa supported his effort with 19 points and had three steals, while Dylan Godfrey rounded out the team’s effort with 12 points and two steals of his own.

Looking ahead, both teams are set to return to action on Saturday, with Quinnipiac preparing to host Niagara, while Canisius will be on the road to face Merrimack.
