CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. — In a competitive matchup on Wednesday night, North Alabama triumphed over Austin Peay with a score of 74-64, propelled by the standout performance of Will Soucie, who netted 22 points.
Soucie also contributed significantly in rebounds, securing six boards for the Lions, who now hold an impressive record of 16 wins and 8 losses overall and 8 wins against 3 losses in the Atlantic Sun Conference.
Canin Jefferson supported the team with 14 points, shooting 3 for 7 from the floor, including 1 for 4 from beyond the arc, and making 7 out of 10 attempts from the charity stripe. Corneilous Williams added to the scoring efforts with 12 points, showcasing an effective shooting performance by going 5 of 8 from the field and 2 of 4 at the free-throw line.
For the Governors, Isaac Haney led the team with an impressive 24 points, along with nine rebounds and two steals. Sai Witt also made his mark on the game, contributing 17 points and 10 rebounds.
