STATESBORO, Ga. — In a thrilling matchup on Wednesday night, Georgia Southern triumphed over Louisiana with a narrow score of 83-82. Adante’ Holiman was the standout player for the Eagles, contributing significantly with 24 points.

Holiman’s performance included an impressive shooting display, where he connected on 8 of 17 attempts from the field, including 5 of 12 from beyond the arc, and sank 3 of 4 free throws. His teammates also played crucial roles in securing the victory; Eren Banks added 14 points on 5 of 7 shooting and managed to hit 2 out of 4 from three-point territory. Additionally, Eugene Brown III scored 13 points, showcasing efficient shooting as he hit 5 of 7 field goal attempts and also made 2 of 4 from long distance.
