MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. — In a solid performance, Alvaro Folgueiras contributed 16 points as Robert Morris secured a victory over Detroit Mercy with a score of 71-56 on Wednesday evening.

Folgueiras also managed to collect three steals for the Colonials, who now hold a record of 17 wins against 8 losses and stand at 9-5 in the Horizon League. Ryan Prather Jr. supported the team with 15 points, demonstrating impressive shooting skills with 4 for 8 from the field, including 4 for 6 from beyond the arc, along with a perfect 3 for 3 at the free-throw line. Amarion Dickerson added to the scoreboard with 12 points, while also contributing significantly on defense with seven rebounds and a remarkable eight blocks. Additionally, Kam Woods rounded out the scoring with 12 points and provided six assists.

The Titans, with a record of 8-17 and 4-10 in the league, saw their leading scorer Orlando Lovejoy putting in a strong effort with 17 points, six assists, and four steals. Teammate TJ Nadeau also made a notable impact, scoring 16 points and grabbing seven rebounds.

Looking ahead, both teams are scheduled to compete again on Saturday. Robert Morris will travel to face Northern Kentucky, whereas Detroit Mercy will host Youngstown State in their next game.
