INDIANAPOLIS — In a thrilling overtime battle on Wednesday night, the Milwaukee Panthers edged past IU Indianapolis with a score of 84-80, thanks in large part to Jamichael Stillwell’s impressive performance. He contributed significantly to the win by scoring 17 points, alongside pulling down 14 rebounds and recording three steals.
The Panthers, now holding a season record of 16 wins and 8 losses, and a conference record of 9-4 in the Horizon League, saw strong support from Erik Pratt, who also netted 17 points. Pratt demonstrated his shooting ability by hitting 7 of 13 attempts, including 2 of 6 from three-point range, in addition to snatching six rebounds. Faizon Fields chipped in 14 points on 6 of 10 shooting and was also solid on the boards with six rebounds, making notable contributions to the team’s success.
On the other side of the court, Paul Zilinskas was the standout for the Jaguars, scoring 25 points and securing three steals, leading his team despite the defeat. Alec Millender supported the offense with 13 points, while Sean Craig added 12 points to the team’s total. The Jaguars’ record now stands at 8-17 overall and 4-10 in the league.
Looking ahead, both teams have matches scheduled for Saturday. Milwaukee will be traveling to take on Cleveland State, while IU Indianapolis will head to Wright State for their next game.
