Toledo, Ohio – In an exciting matchup on Tuesday evening, the Toledo Rockets secured a victory over the Buffalo Bulls with a final score of 87-74, thanks in large part to the standout performance of Sam Lewis.
Lewis contributed significantly to the team’s success, scoring 19 points and grabbing five rebounds, helping the Rockets improve their record to 14-8 overall with an 8-2 standing in the Mid-American Conference.
Javan Simmons also played a key role, delivering a well-rounded game with 18 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists. Sonny Wilson matched Simmons’ tally, finishing the game with another 18 points.
On the opposing side, Buffalo, now sitting at 7-15 with a 2-8 conference record, had Tyson Dunn leading the charge. Dunn scored 19 points and recorded six assists, putting forth a strong effort despite the loss.
