WASHINTON — In an impressive display, Omar Croskey achieved a personal best of 27 points, leading South Carolina State to a commanding 89-66 win over Howard on Monday evening.
Croskey’s performance also included eight rebounds and three steals, contributing significantly to the Bulldogs’ victory, bringing their overall record to 10-12 and their Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference standing to 4-3. In addition, Drayton Jones supported the team with 15 points and eight rebounds, while Jayden Johnson added to the score with two three-pointers, totaling 14 points on the night.
On the opposing side, the Bison’s efforts were led by Cameron Shockley-Okeke and Marcus Dockery, each contributing 18 points. Blake Harper also made a notable impact, scoring 17 points along with six rebounds and four assists, but it wasn’t enough to secure a win for Howard, leaving them with a record of 8-14 and 3-2 in the conference.
