In a competitive matchup, the Coppin State Eagles emerged victorious over the Maryland Eastern Shore Hawks with a score of 62-57 on Monday night in Princess Anne, Maryland.
Toby Nnadozie was a standout performer for Coppin State, contributing significantly to the team’s success with 17 points and five rebounds. Both Julius Ellerbe and Peter Oduro added to the scoring efforts by each netting 12 points, while Ellerbe also secured 10 rebounds and dished out five assists, showcasing a well-rounded performance.
On the opposing side, the Hawks struggled to maintain momentum, marking their seventh consecutive loss. Ketron Shaw led the Hawks with 16 points and six assists, while his teammates Chris Flippin and Kyrell Shaw made notable contributions, scoring 14 and 10 points, respectively. Kyrell Shaw also recorded seven rebounds and two steals, but it was not enough to change the outcome of the game.
