SALT LAKE CITY — In a recent game against the Indiana Pacers, Utah guard Collin Sexton sustained a sprain to his left ankle while aggressively driving toward the basket with 9:47 left in the first quarter.

Following the injury, Sexton was unable to continue playing and fell to the floor before he could make it to the bench, prompting the Jazz to call for a timeout to assist him.

As the first quarter concluded, the Jazz confirmed that Sexton would not return for the remainder of the game. They also stated that he would undergo evaluations the following day.

Known for his durability, Sexton has been one of the healthier players on the Utah roster this season, having only missed two games due to rest while other team members have been sidelined frequently because of various injuries during this rebuilding phase.
