Florence, Alabama – In a dominating performance, North Alabama emerged victorious over Central Arkansas with a score of 94-65 on Saturday evening.
Daniel Ortiz was the standout player for North Alabama, contributing 21 points to the team’s effort. Ortiz showcased his shooting skills, making 8 of his 18 attempts from the field, including a notable 5 of 15 from three-point range.
Supporting Ortiz were Jacari Lane, who added 17 points and five rebounds to the scoreboard, along with Kevin de Kovachich, who efficiently recorded 16 points on 7 of 9 shooting, including making 2 of 3 from beyond the arc.
For Central Arkansas, Brayden Fagbemi led the charge with an impressive performance, scoring 25 points while adding eight assists and two steals. Cole McCormick also contributed with 12 points, while Jabari West Jr. chipped in with eight points.
Looking ahead, both teams will return to action on Wednesday. North Alabama will be traveling to face Austin Peay, while Central Arkansas will be at home hosting Queens.
