Okereke contributes 15 points in Cornell’s 75-60 victory over Harvard

    ITHACA, N.Y. — In a decisive match on Saturday night, Cornell triumphed over Harvard with a final score of 75-60.
    AK Okereke was a key contributor to Cornell’s victory, scoring 15 points with an impressive shooting performance of 5 for 7 from the floor and connecting on 5 of 6 free throws.
    The Big Red, now holding a record of 13 wins and 6 losses overall and 5 wins to 1 loss in Ivy League play, saw additional support from Guy Ragland Jr., who contributed 14 points on a highly efficient 6 for 9 shooting, which included hitting 2 of 4 attempts from three-point range, along with providing six assists.
    Nazir Williams also made his mark, scoring 11 points, going 3 for 6 overall, with 1 for 4 from beyond the arc, and finishing a perfect 4 for 4 from the charity stripe.
    On the other side of the court, Harvard struggled to keep pace, with their scoring led by Thomas Batties II and Chandler Pigge, who each tallied 14 points.
    Austin Hunt also added to Harvard’s performance with a score of 10 points, but it wasn’t enough to overcome Cornell’s strong showing.
    As the season progresses, both teams will look to build on their respective performances.
