BALTIMORE — In a decisive victory on Saturday night, Delaware State triumphed over Coppin State with an impressive score of 84-61.

Robert Smith was a standout player for the Hornets, contributing 20 points and five assists, showcasing his versatility on the court. Martaz Robinson also had a productive outing, scoring 19 points while demonstrating an efficient shooting performance, hitting six of his 13 attempts and going perfect from the three-point line and the free-throw line. Kaseem Watson chipped in with 13 points, shooting six for ten.

For the Eagles, Toby Nnadozie was the top scorer, racking up 21 points along with two steals, trying to spearhead a comeback for his team. Jonathan Dunn added 15 points to the total, while Peter Oduro made a solid contribution with nine points and nine rebounds.

This game adds to Delaware State’s record, bringing them to 11 wins and 10 losses overall, as well as 3-3 in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference.
