James Madison tops Old Dominion with a score of 68-54

HARRISONBURG, Va. — The James Madison Dukes secured a 68-54 win over Old Dominion in a game held on Saturday evening, with Mark Freeman leading the charge by scoring 17 points.
Freeman displayed a solid shooting performance, going 6 for 14 overall, which included a three-point shooting record of 3 for 9. His efforts contributed significantly to the team’s performance in the Sun Belt Conference, where they now hold a record of 14 wins and 9 losses, with 7 wins and 4 losses in conference play. Alongside him, Bryce Lindsay made his mark by scoring 14 points and grabbing five rebounds. Additionally, Elijah Hutchins-Everett added another 13 points to the scoreboard, showcasing an efficient shooting night with 5 out of 7 from the field and a perfect 3 for 3 from the free-throw line.
On the opposing side, Old Dominion, with a current record of 10 wins and 13 losses and a 6-5 standing in the conference, found their top scorer in Sean Durugordon. He delivered a commendable performance by notching 18 points and pulling down eight rebounds. Robert Davis Jr. supported the effort with 10 points, while Donovan Raymond contributed with eight points and six rebounds of his own.
Looking ahead, both teams are set to take the court again this coming Wednesday. James Madison will face off against Troy, while Old Dominion will host Texas State.
