FORT MYERS, Fla. — Dallion Johnson delivered an impressive performance, scoring 22 points, as Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) secured an 82-56 victory over Stetson on Saturday.
Johnson showcased his shooting skills, making 8 of 14 shots from the field, including 6 of 12 from beyond the arc, contributing significantly to the Eagles’ success this season.
Rory Stewart supported the team with 13 points, hitting 5 of 8 shots from the field, including 3 of 4 from three-point territory.
Keeshawn Kellman also played a vital role by scoring 12 points, going 5 of 9 from the floor, along with collecting six rebounds.
For the Hatters, Josh Massey was the standout, finishing the game with 19 points. Mehki added further support for Stetson by contributing 13 points to the team’s efforts.
Looking ahead, both teams are scheduled to play again on Thursday. FGCU will take on Eastern Kentucky, while Stetson will face off against Jacksonville.
