LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. — In an exciting matchup on Friday night, TJ Weeks Jr. led the Rider Broncs to a close 67-64 victory over the Saint Peter’s Peacocks.
Weeks showcased his scoring ability, finishing the game with 17 points and shooting an impressive 6 out of 11 from the field. He also made 2 of his 5 attempts from beyond the arc and completed all 3 of his free throws, contributing significantly to Rider’s win.
Alongside Weeks, Zion Cruz added to the team’s offensive efforts with 14 points, hitting 50% of his shots (6 of 12), although he struggled from three-point range, failing to convert on all three attempts. Additionally, Ife West-Ingram contributed 11 points, demonstrating efficiency by making 5 out of 6 shots from the floor.
