MISSOULA, Mont. — In an exciting matchup on Thursday night, the Montana Grizzlies triumphed over the Portland State Vikings with a final score of 92-78. Brandon Whitney was a standout player for Montana, scoring an impressive 19 points during the game. Whitney demonstrated exceptional shooting accuracy, connecting on 8 of his 9 attempts from the field and converting 3 of 4 from the free-throw line, helping the Grizzlies improve their record to 14-8 and 7-2 in the Big Sky Conference.

Malik Moore also had a notable performance, scoring 15 points as he made 5 of 8 attempts from the floor and hit 3 of 4 from three-point range. Furthermore, Joe Pridgen contributed 14 points, shooting 6 for 11 overall and making 2 out of 3 free throws.
