Kennesaw, Georgia – In an exciting clash on Thursday night, Liberty University emerged victorious against Kennesaw State University, finishing with a score of 76-68. Kaden Metheny played a pivotal role for the Flames, contributing 17 points along with five rebounds throughout the game.
Metheny’s solid performance was backed by Zach Cleveland, who notched 14 points and assisted six times. Additionally, Colin Porter made a significant impact by sinking three shots from beyond the arc, finishing with 13 points.
On the other side of the court, Adrian Wooley stood out for the Owls, leading his team with a strong 22-point performance along with five assists. Andre Weir also had an impressive showing, recording a double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds. Simeon Cottle supported the team by adding 10 points to the scoreboard.
Liberty took control of the game early on, securing the lead with just under 15 minutes remaining in the first half and maintaining it throughout the match. By halftime, the Flames had built a comfortable lead of 38-28, largely thanks to Cleveland’s contribution of 10 points in the first half.
