ERIE, Pa. — In an exciting matchup on Thursday evening, Mercyhurst emerged victorious over Saint Francis with a close score of 62-58, boosted by a standout performance from Bernie Blunt, who contributed 22 points to the team’s effort.

Blunt’s shooting stats included 8 successful attempts out of 19, with a notably challenging 2 for 9 from beyond the arc. He was perfect from the free-throw line, hitting all four of his attempts.
