NEWARK, Del. — In a thrilling matchup on Thursday night, Towson University achieved a decisive victory over the University of Delaware, winning 76-66 and securing their seventh consecutive win of the season.

Dylan Williamson stood out with an impressive performance, contributing 27 points to the Tigers’ effort. He showcased his skill by hitting 11 of 19 shots from the field, including a strong 5 of 9 from three-point range. Teammate Tyler Tejada bolstered the offense with 15 points, going 5 for 12 shooting and an impressive 5 for 6 from the free-throw line, while also grabbing five rebounds. Nendah Tarke added 14 points, converting 5 of 10 shots and making 3 of 5 free throws, alongside his contributions on the court.

For the Fightin’ Blue Hens, John Camden had a notable night, finishing with 17 points, six rebounds, and three steals. Niels Lane supported the team with 13 points and four assists, while Izaiah Pasha rounded out the scoring for Delaware with 12 points.

Despite Williamson’s early struggles, scoring just nine points in the first half, Towson went into halftime behind, 33-29. However, Williamson turned the game around in the second half, pouring in 18 points to help lead his team to victory.

Looking ahead, both teams are set to take the court on Saturday. Towson will host Drexel, while Delaware will travel to face Monmouth.
