The tournament format was changed to 54 holes last year due to heavy rain and wind on the final day. The field consists of 80 players, the largest in signature events, allowing for the pro-am format scheduled over Pebble Beach and Spyglass Hill on Thursday and Friday. Sam Stevens qualified for the tournament thanks to his performance in recent events, including a second-place finish at Torrey Pines.

Notable Points: Nelly Korda leads the roster of tournament champions as the LPGA launches its season. The tour will celebrate its 75-year anniversary in 2025.
