DENTON, Texas — In a strong performance off the bench, Brenen Lorient contributed 17 points to propel North Texas to a 77-64 victory over Florida Atlantic on Sunday.

Lorient demonstrated impressive shooting, making 7 of 11 attempts from the field and converting 3 of 4 free throw attempts for the Mean Green, who now hold a 15-4 overall record and a 6-1 mark in the American Athletic Conference. Atin Wright also showcased his scoring ability, finishing with 17 points after hitting 6 of his 13 shots, including 4 for 8 from three-point range. Additionally, Moulaye Sissoko added 14 points by shooting 5 of 7 from the field and 4 of 7 from the free-throw line.

For the Owls, Kaleb Glenn was the standout performer, racking up 20 points along with seven rebounds. Baba Miller contributed 11 points and matched Glenn with seven rebounds, while Tre Carroll also made a mark with 10 points and six boards.

Wright made a notable impact early in the game, scoring eight points in the first half. However, North Texas found themselves trailing 34-27 at halftime.
