LORETTO, Pa. — In an exciting matchup on Sunday, Wagner secured a narrow victory against Saint Francis (PA) with a score of 68-66.
Zaire Williams played a significant role in this win, contributing 12 points and grabbing seven rebounds for the Seahawks, who now hold an overall record of 11-9 and a Northeast Conference record of 3-4.
Ja’Kair Sanchez also made his mark on the game, adding 11 points to the score sheet. He had a shooting percentage of 50%, making four of eight attempts, including one of three from beyond the arc. Furthermore, Di’Andre Howell-South shot an impressive 80% from the field, finishing the game with 11 points, which included a perfect three for three presentation from three-point range.
On the opposing side, the Red Flash, who now stand at 8-14 overall and 3-5 within the conference, were led by Riley Parker.
