Rivera not only scored 16 points but also sank a decisive three-pointer with just 24 seconds remaining on the clock that secured the win for the Rams.
The Fordham Rams improved their record to 9-11 overall and are now 1-6 in the Atlantic 10 Conference. Alongside Rivera, Japhet Medor played a crucial role in the game, contributing 14 points, and also collecting six rebounds along with seven assists. Romad Dean added to the scoring with 12 points, helping to snap a difficult six-game losing streak for the team.
On the opposing side, Duquesne’s Cam Crawford led his team’s efforts with 13 points. He was supported by teammates Tre Dinkins and Kareem Rozier, who both chipped in with 11 points each, as the Dukes put forth a strong performance.
