In a thrilling encounter on Sunday, Fordham managed to overcome Duquesne with a narrow 65-63 victory, thanks in large part to Josh Riveraโ€™s impressive performance. Rivera not only scored 16 points but also sank a decisive three-pointer with just 24 seconds remaining on the clock that secured the win for the Rams.

The Fordham Rams improved their record to 9-11 overall and are now 1-6 in the Atlantic 10 Conference. Alongside Rivera, Japhet Medor played a crucial role in the game, contributing 14 points, and also collecting six rebounds along with seven assists. Romad Dean added to the scoring with 12 points, helping to snap a difficult six-game losing streak for the team.

On the opposing side, Duquesneโ€™s Cam Crawford led his teamโ€™s efforts with 13 points. He was supported by teammates Tre Dinkins and Kareem Rozier, who both chipped in with 11 points each, as the Dukes put forth a strong performance.

In the first half, Jackie Johnson III made a notable contribution, scoring eight points for Fordham, but the team entered halftime in a tight spot, trailing 30-29. The tables turned in the second half, particularly with Rivera stepping up, scoring a total of 14 points in that period, culminating in his game-winning shot, which became the highlight of an exhilarating finish.
