LORMAN, Mississippi – In an exciting matchup on Saturday night, Florida A&M edged past Alcorn State with a narrow 65-64 victory, thanks in large part to Sterling Young’s impressive performance, who netted 19 points for the Rattlers.

Young showcased his shooting skills, hitting 7 of his 17 attempts from the field, including a solid 5 for 10 from three-point range. The Rattlers improved their record to 6-11, maintaining a balanced performance in the Southwestern Athletic Conference with a 3-3 mark.
