Davis nets 22 points in San Jose State’s 67-58 victory over Wyoming

San Jose, California – In an exciting matchup on Saturday night, San Jose State triumphed over Wyoming, finishing with a score of 67-58, thanks in part to a strong performance from Latrell Davis, who scored 22 points while coming off the bench.

Davis was instrumental for the Spartans (10-11, 3-6 Mountain West Conference), also contributing five rebounds during the game. His performance was complemented by Sadaidriene Hall, who added 13 points and grabbed seven boards, while Will McClendon added 11 points to the scoreboard. McClendon struggled slightly with his shooting, hitting only 4 of 13 attempts, and managed to drain just 1 of 4 shots from three-point territory.

The Spartans enhanced their lead in the second half, turning a narrow three-point margin into a commanding ten-point lead, thanks to a 7-0 run that pushed the score to 41-31 with just over 13 minutes remaining. Davis continued to shine, contributing an additional 12 points in the latter part of the game to help secure the victory for San Jose State.
