Marmolejos demonstrated his shooting skills, connecting on 6 of 16 attempts overall and successfully sinking 4 out of 10 from beyond the arc. His performance was rounded out by making 8 of 10 from the free-throw line, showcasing his ability to deliver under pressure. This win improves the Cardinals’ record to 11-9 overall and 6-3 in the Southland Conference. In support of Marmolejos, Cody Pennebaker contributed 10 points and grabbed six rebounds, while Ja’Sean Jackson finished with 10 points himself, shooting 3 for 9 overall and hitting 2 of 4 from three-point territory.
