SAINT CHARLES, Mo. — In an impressive performance, Mwani Wilkinson stood out for Little Rock, contributing 19 points in their commanding 78-46 win over Lindenwood on Saturday evening.
Wilkinson not only shone offensively but also on the boards, recording 13 rebounds and three blocks for the Trojans, who now hold a 13-7 record and a strong 7-2 standing in the Ohio Valley Conference. Alongside him, teammate Johnathan Lawson excelled with 17 points, showcasing his shooting skills by hitting 5 of 7 attempts from beyond the arc, while also providing seven assists to the team’s efforts. Tuongthach Gatkek rounded out the strong performances with 13 points, going 6 of 11 from the field, in addition to racking up 14 rebounds and five blocks.
On the other side, the Lindenwood Lions struggled throughout the game, with Jordan Wildy being their leading scorer at 10 points. Clayton Jackson added to their count with nine points, while Markeith Browning II contributed eight points and five assists, aiding the Lions, who currently have a record of 9-12 and sit at 4-6 within the conference.
