NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. — In an exciting matchup on Saturday, UNC Asheville overcame Charleston Southern with a score of 69-61, driven by an impressive performance from Jordan Marsh, who recorded 28 points.

Marsh not only showcased his scoring abilities but also contributed defensively with four steals for the Bulldogs, who now hold a record of 15 wins and 6 losses, with 6 victories and just 1 defeat in the Big South Conference. Toyaz Solomon supported the team’s efforts with 13 points, demonstrating efficiency by shooting 6 of 10 from the field, in addition to grabbing five rebounds. Kameron Taylor also made his mark, scoring 10 points on 4 of 7 shooting, but struggled slightly from the free-throw line, making only 1 of 4 attempts.

For the Buccaneers, who are now 6-16 overall and 2-5 in conference play, RJ Johnson emerged as the leading scorer, netting 21 points while also providing five assists.
