West Georgia triumphs over North Florida with a score of 92-72

CARROLLTON, Ga. — Kolten Griffin delivered an impressive performance, scoring 24 points in West Georgia’s 92-72 victory over North Florida on Saturday.

Griffin’s contribution extended beyond scoring, as he also grabbed five rebounds, dished out six assists, and recorded three steals for the Wolves, who now hold a record of 4-17 and 2-6 in the Atlantic Sun Conference. Shelton Williams-Dryden proved to be another key player, adding 17 points with a shooting accuracy of 5 of 11, alongside a perfect free-throw performance of 7 of 7 while also collecting eight rebounds. Kyric Davis rounded out the scoring efforts, finishing with 16 points, having shot 5 of 9 from the floor and 6 of 6 at the free-throw line.

On the other side of the court, the Ospreys fought hard, led by Jasai Miles, who accumulated 18 points. Jaylen Smith supported the team with 13 points and four assists, while Nate Lliteras also contributed 13 points along with two steals.

Both teams will be back in action on Wednesday, with West Georgia traveling to face Central Arkansas, while North Florida will host Stetson at home.
