In Terre Haute, Indiana, Northern Iowa secured a convincing 74-56 victory over Indiana State on Saturday, largely thanks to Jacob Hutson’s impressive performance, where he scored 19 points and secured 12 rebounds.
Hutson’s contribution was pivotal for the Panthers (13-8, 7-3 in the Missouri Valley Conference), while Ben Schwieger also showcased his skills by adding 15 points, hitting 5 of 8 shots, which included 2 of 4 from beyond the arc, as well as converting 3 of 5 free-throw attempts along with grabbing five rebounds. Tytan Anderson further bolstered the team’s performance, scoring 14 points on 4 of 7 shooting from the field and finishing a perfect 4 for 4 from the charity stripe.
