YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — In a resounding victory, Youngstown State defeated Penn State-Shenango with a commanding score of 112-63 on Friday evening. EJ Farmer was instrumental to the Penguins’ success, contributing 20 points along with 10 rebounds, showcasing his versatility on the court.
Ty Harper also made a significant impact, shooting an impressive 5 for 6, including a perfect 5 for 5 from three-point range, finishing the game with 17 points. Jason Nelson joined the scoring effort with 16 points, having shot 6 for 8 overall and 3 for 4 from beyond the arc.
For Penn State-Shenango, D’Montez Owens emerged as the leading scorer, tallying 19 points. Malik Davis and Cameron Brown followed closely, scoring 18 and 12 points, respectively, but their efforts were not enough to counter Youngstown’s offensive onslaught.
