SAINT CHARLES, Mo. — In a thrilling matchup on Thursday evening, Anias Futrell led Lindenwood to a close 72-68 win over Southeast Missouri State, scoring 20 points in the contest.

Futrell’s performance also included four steals, contributing significantly to the Lions’ victory. Lindenwood improved their record to 9-11 overall and 4-5 within the Ohio Valley Conference. Jordan Wildy also played a pivotal role, adding 17 points, shooting an impressive 6 of 9 from the field, with 1 of 4 from beyond the arc, and completing all his free throws with 4 for 4. Furthermore, Jadis Jones made a solid impact by shooting 5 of 9 from the field and hitting 5 of 6 from the free-throw line, ending the night with 15 points.

The Redhawks, now 10-10 overall and 5-4 in conference play, were led in scoring by Brendan Terry, who netted 14 points. Rob Martin contributed with 12 points and dished out four assists, while Tedrick Washington Jr. added 11 points, along with seven rebounds and three crucial steals, although it wasn’t enough to clinch a win.
