UT Arlington triumphs over Seattle U with a score of 65-56

    ARLINGTON, Texas — In a Thursday night showdown, UT Arlington secured a 65-56 victory against Seattle U, thanks in part to a solid performance from Jaden Wells, who contributed 14 points for the Mavericks.

    Wells showcased his shooting skills, hitting 4 of 9 attempts, including a sharp 4 for 8 from three-point range. For the Mavericks, Darius Burford also made a notable impact, finishing with 13 points and seven rebounds. Lance Ware added to the team’s success by scoring 12 points, with his shooting split of 4 for 8 from the field and the free-throw line, while also contributing 10 rebounds and three blocks.

    On the other side, Seattle U’s Kobe Williamson led the Redhawks with 13 points, as well as six rebounds and two shots blocked. Additionally, Paris Dawson contributed 11 points to the team’s effort, and Matthew-Alexander Moncrieffe made his mark with nine points alongside 14 rebounds.

    Looking ahead, both teams have games scheduled for Saturday. The Mavericks will travel to face Abilene Christian, while Seattle U will take on Utah Valley at home.
