Withers tallies 27 points as Bryant defeats New Hampshire 95-76

DURHAM, N.H. — In a thrilling matchup, Connor Withers shone brightly, scoring 27 points as the Bryant Bulldogs triumphed over the New Hampshire Wildcats with a score of 95-76 on Thursday evening.

Withers showcased his versatility, contributing seven rebounds and five assists to help secure the Bulldogs’ victory. The team improved their record to 11-9 overall and 5-0 in the America East Conference. Barry Evans also made a significant impact, netting 18 points while shooting 53.8% from the field. His performance included four successful three-pointers, in addition to collecting eight rebounds, and making three steals and three blocks. Rafael Pinzon also had a commendable game, scoring 18 points with nine successful field goals, despite struggling from beyond the arc without a single three-pointer.

On the other side, the Wildcats were led by Anthony McComb III, who contributed 22 points along with three steals. Teammate Sami Pissis added 15 points, while Antoni Siewruk matched that tally with 15 of his own, giving New Hampshire a combined strong effort although they fell short in the end. This loss brought the Wildcats’ record to 4-17 and 2-4 in their conference play.

Both teams are gearing up for their next contests scheduled for Saturday. The Bulldogs will be at home facing off against Binghamton, while the Wildcats will head out on the road to challenge UMass-Lowell.
