Tottenham Hotspur’s forward Dominic Solanke is anticipated to be sidelined for roughly six weeks due to a knee injury, as confirmed by the team’s manager, Ange Postecoglou, on Thursday.

The injury occurred during a training session last week, prompting Solanke to miss the recent Premier League match against Everton as well as Thursday’s Europa League triumph over Hoffenheim.

Postecoglou commented on the situation following his side’s 3-2 victory in Germany, stating, “For Dom, the current assessment suggests we are looking at around the six-week timeframe.” He further clarified that surgery will not be necessary and mentioned the possibility of Solanke returning slightly earlier, depending on his recovery progress. However, the indication at this point is a six-week absence.

Solanke, who was brought in from Bournemouth in the offseason for a transfer fee of £55 million (approximately $68 million), has been a key player for Spurs, netting 11 goals across 29 matches this season.
