NEW YORK — Tina Turner, affectionately referred to as the ‘Queen of Rock ’n’ Roll’, left an indelible mark on the music world before her passing in 2023. She died after battling a lengthy illness in her residence in Küsnacht, Switzerland. Turner is remembered for her extensive repertoire of classic hits, and her fans now have something new to look forward to: an unreleased track titled “Hot For You Baby.” This lively rock anthem from the 1980s showcases her signature husky vocals, combining a sense of effortless cool with an upbeat spirit.

This song is featured in the upcoming 40th anniversary reissue of her landmark album, “Private Dancer,” set to be released on March 21. The special edition will come in various formats, including a comprehensive 5 CD/Blu-ray set that promises to delight fans with not only previously unreleased songs but also live performances and music videos that have not been seen before.

“Hot For You Baby,” crafted by Australian artist John Paul Young and produced by John Carter, was intended for her 1984 album. The original “Private Dancer” album achieved notable success, reaching No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart, but it is most famed for giving Turner her first No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 with the iconic song “What’s Love Got to Do With It.” This track reflects just a fraction of her remarkable catalog, which also includes beloved classics like “Proud Mary,” “Nutbush City Limits,” “River Deep, Mountain High,” “We Don’t Need Another Hero,” and a rendition of Al Green’s “Let’s Stay Together.”
