Cristiano Ronaldo showcased his remarkable talent on Tuesday as he netted two goals for Al-Nassr, leading them to a 3-1 triumph over Al-Khaleej in the Saudi Pro League. This outstanding performance not only propelled Al-Nassr to victory but also positioned Ronaldo at the top of the league’s scoring chart, surpassing both Aleksandar Mitrovic and Karim Benzema.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner opened the scoring for Al-Nassr in the 65th minute, delivering a precise low shot from the edge of the penalty area. This goal marked his 100th contribution to the team since he made the switch to the Riyadh club in December 2022.

Al-Khaleej managed to equalize in the 80th minute, bringing the score to 1-1. However, Al-Nassr quickly regained the lead thanks to Sultan Al-Ghannam’s goal shortly after. Ronaldo then capped off the match with a decisive goal eight minutes into stoppage time, securing his 13th goal of the season in the Saudi Pro League. This latest strike has put him one goal ahead of Mitrovic, who plays for Al-Hilal, and two ahead of Benzema, representing Al-Ittihad.

With this win, Al-Nassr has ascended to third place in the league standings. However, they still trail Al-Hilal by a significant 11 points. Al-Hilal maintained their lead by overcoming Al-Wehda with a commanding 4-1 victory, further increasing their gap over Al-Ittihad.
