Gabriel Strefezza played a crucial role in Como’s impressive 4-1 triumph over Udinese on Monday, contributing one goal and one assist. This victory helped Cesc Fàbregas’ team move three points clear of the relegation zone in Serie A.

Como opened the scoring early in the match, with Assane Diao finding the net for the second consecutive game just five minutes in. Strefezza then extended the lead just before halftime, striking a low shot that took advantage of Udinese’s failure to clear a corner kick.

After the break, Udinese attempted to stage a comeback when Martin Payero scored shortly after halftime. However, their efforts were hampered when Edoardo Goldaniga received a red card for a second booking in the 57th minute, leaving Udinese a man down.

But just six minutes later, the tide turned again when Oumar Solet also received a red card for two quick fouls, reducing both teams to ten players. As the game progressed, Jaka Bijol inadvertently scored an own goal, pushing Como’s lead to 3-1 with only 12 minutes left on the clock.

In the closing moments, Nico Paz capitalized on a well-executed team play to seal the game with Como’s fourth goal. This match marked Como’s largest victory since their return to Serie A this season, allowing them to climb from 17th to 13th place in the standings.

Conversely, Udinese’s defeat marked their fourth consecutive match without a win, keeping them stagnant in 10th place.
