POCATELLO, Idaho — On Saturday night, Idaho State secured a commanding 86-61 win over Montana, with standout performance from Isaiah Griffin, who scored 23 points.
Griffin displayed impressive shooting skills, hitting 10 of 17 attempts from the floor, including 3 of 5 from three-point territory, as the Bengals improved their record to 8-8 overall and 3-2 within the Big Sky Conference.
Jake O’Neil also made significant contributions, scoring 19 points while shooting an efficient 9 of 12 and recording a total of 12 rebounds.
Connor Hollenbeck added to the team’s success with 15 points, making 6 of 9 shots and sinking 2 of 3 from beyond the arc.
On the other side, Montana struggled to keep pace, with their top scorer Malik Moore finishing with 12 points.
Jensen Bradtke chipped in 10 points, while Money Williams contributed eight points and provided five assists for the Grizzlies, who fell to 11-8 overall and 4-2 in conference play.
