GREENVILLE, S.C. — In a thrilling matchup on Saturday night, Chattanooga triumphed over Furman with a close score of 75-71. The win was significantly boosted by notable performances from Frank Champion, Trey Bonham, and Honor Huff, who each contributed 16 points to the team’s success.
Champion’s performance was impressive, as he also secured nine rebounds, contributing to the Mocs’ (12-7, 4-2 Southern Conference) solid standing. Huff showcased his shooting skills with a 4 of 8 success rate from the field, including one three-pointer out of three attempts, and he excelled at the free-throw line, hitting 7 of 8. Bonham, despite a challenging night, shot 5 of 15 overall, including 1 of 3 from beyond the arc, while also going 5 for 6 at the line.
