Bryson Dawkins played a significant role in the Huskies’ success, contributing 15 points and securing six rebounds. His efforts alongside teammates helped lift the team’s record to 7-11 overall and 4-3 in the Southland Conference.
Demari Williams was another key player for Houston Christian, adding 14 points and five rebounds to the scoreboard. Julian Mackey also finished with 14 points, although he had a challenging game, making only 4 of his 13 shots, which included just one successful 3-pointer out of eight attempts. However, Mackey did perform well from the free-throw line, converting 5 out of 6 opportunities.
On the other side, Dekedran Thorn was the standout player for the Vaqueros, contributing 15 points to the effort.
