NEWARK, N.J. — In an exciting matchup, Tariq Francis was instrumental in leading NJIT to a narrow 64-59 victory over New Hampshire on Saturday.

Francis showcased his all-around skills by contributing not only 19 points but also gathering five rebounds, dishing out eight assists, and securing three steals for the Highlanders, who now hold a record of 4-15 overall and 1-3 in the America East Conference.

Sebastian Robinson also made a significant impact, scoring 17 points, with a shooting performance that saw him go 3 of 10 from the field and 10 of 13 from the free-throw line. Another key contributor was Ari Fulton, who delivered 11 points, shooting 3 of 6 from the field and hitting 5 of 8 from the charity stripe.

For the Wildcats, who stand at 4-16 overall and 2-3 in their conference, Khalil Badru was the standout player, registering a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds, coupled with two steals.
