NEWARK, Del. — John Camden delivered an impressive performance with 28 points, guiding Delaware to a thrilling 79-77 win over Elon on Saturday afternoon.
Camden showcased his shooting accuracy by hitting 9 out of 11 attempts, including 3 of 5 from beyond the arc, and he converted 7 of 8 from the free-throw line. His remarkable play was crucial for the Fightin’ Blue Hens, who now have a record of 11-8 and a 4-2 standing in the Coastal Athletic Association. In support of Camden, Cavan Reilly contributed 18 points, shooting 6 of 9 from the floor and nailing 4 out of 7 from three-point territory.
