BOWLING GREEN, Ohio — Eastern Michigan secured a victory over Bowling Green with a final score of 68-62 on Saturday, led by Christian Henry’s impressive 17-point performance.

Henry shot 6 of 13 from the field, including a solid 3-for-7 from beyond the arc, contributing significantly to the Eagles’ success. Arne Osojnik also had a strong showing, scoring 16 points on 6 of 7 shooting, with an impressive 4 of 5 from three-point range. Osojnik’s efforts didn’t stop there; he also pulled down 11 rebounds and recorded three steals. Jalen Terry added to the team’s efforts by scoring 13 points, hitting 4 of 10 from the field and 2 of 5 from three-point land, while going a perfect 3 for 3 from the free-throw line. He also chipped in with eight rebounds and five assists.

For Bowling Green, Marcus Johnson was the standout performer, finishing with 18 points. Trey Thomas contributed 16 points to the scoreboard, while Javontae Campbell rounded out the scoring for the Falcons with nine points and three steals.

The game was closely contested in the first half, with Eastern Michigan heading into halftime with a slim 29-26 lead, largely thanks to Henry’s 11 points scored in that period. The pivotal moment came in the second half when Osojnik drained a three-pointer with 11:05 left on the clock, putting Eastern Michigan ahead for the remainder of the game at 45-44.

Looking ahead, both teams will be back in action on Tuesday. Eastern Michigan will host Ohio, while Bowling Green will travel to face Miami (OH).
