JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Robert McCray was instrumental in leading the Jacksonville Dolphins to a narrow 64-60 victory against North Alabama on Thursday night, scoring 19 points.
McCray also contributed defensively, recording three steals during the match for the Dolphins, now with a season record of 10-7 and an impressive 4-1 in the Atlantic Sun Conference.
His teammates also made notable contributions, with Stephon Payne III adding 12 points and demonstrating efficiency by going 6 of 10 from the field alongside securing 10 rebounds and blocking four shots.
Jakari Spence matched Payne’s scoring, netting 12 points while also displaying sharp shooting by hitting 5 of his 7 attempts and converting 2 out of 3 from the free-throw line.
On the opposing side, the Lions, who now hold a record of 11-7 and 3-2 in their conference, saw Jacari Lane leading the team with 15 points, seven rebounds, and two steals.
Support came from Daniel Ortiz, who contributed 13 points and nearly secured a double-double with his nine rebounds, while Corneilous Williams added 12 points to the effort.
