PRAGUE — On Thursday, Norwich City made a strategic move to enhance their squad by signing Czech winger Mat?j Jurásek from Slavia Prague. This acquisition is aimed at boosting their chances of securing promotion to the Premier League.

The 21-year-old Jurásek has finalized a contract that will keep him at Norwich until June 2030. The Championship club reportedly agreed to pay a transfer fee of approximately 6.9 million euros, which is roughly equivalent to $7.1 million.

Jurásek is regarded as a talented young player within Czech football, yet he has faced challenges breaking into Slavia Prague’s starting eleven. During the current season, he has netted one goal in the domestic league and added another in the Europa League.
