NBA adjusts schedule for games delayed by California wildfires and winter storm in Atlanta

The NBA has announced a revision to its schedule, affecting several games that were postponed due to severe wildfires in Southern California and a winter storm in Atlanta.
This update was made public on Wednesday, revealing that the home game of the Los Angeles Lakers against the Charlotte Hornets, initially slated for January 9, will now take place on February 19.
Likewise, the Hornets’ game against the Los Angeles Clippers, which was supposed to occur on January 11, has been rescheduled for March 16.
In addition, the Atlanta Hawks’ matchup against the Houston Rockets, originally set for January 11, will now be held on January 28.
However, the revised date for the Lakers’ January 11 game against the San Antonio Spurs has yet to be revealed.

Alongside these changes, the NBA also adjusted the dates of six other games to accommodate the updated schedule:
The Clippers, who were initially scheduled to host the Chicago Bulls on January 21 and the Washington Wizards on March 16, will now play the Bulls on January 20 and the Wizards on January 23.
A previously arranged trip for the Clippers to Utah on March 19 has been moved up to February 13.
Additionally, the Lakers’ home game against the Jazz, originally on February 11, will now take place on February 10.
The Wizards’ game at Utah, previously set for January 23, is now scheduled for March 19, while Washington’s contest against the Portland Trail Blazers on March 18 will be played a day earlier, on March 17.
